Meetup #3 6/28 & 6/29!
The next meetup has been set! It's not one but two days of opportunity for you to come and hang out, talk fishing and enjoy downtown Burlington.
We are going to have a fly casting demo using fishing rods made for teaching how to fly cast. We'll talk about the basic kinds of fly fishing gear, the kinds of lures and when and where to use them in Vermont.
We're also going to talk about the most common species in Lake Champlain. It's a great opportunity for people new to fishing to find out different places to go, and for once it's actually an appropriate place for you to show off all the fish pics you've taken so far this season.
